Update 12/27/2024: It was not before Friday 12/27/2024, late afternoon, that FinCEN came forward with another court order of the Fifth Circuit Court that VACATED the part of the motions panel order granting the Government’s motion to stay the district court’s preliminary injunction enjoining enforcement of the CTA and the Reporting Rule. This means another nationwide stay of CTA reporting requirements AND the reporting deadline 13th of January, 2025 previously announced by FinCEN is now in place. Any FinCEN submissions are currently on a "voluntary basis". We suggest to closely monitor the progress case "Texas Top Cop Shop, Inc., et al. v. Garland, et al., No. 4:24-cv-00478" makes through the legal system and NOT to file BOIR reports at this time.
